The House System

We are proud to announce the creation of a new program in the Upper School designed to build community, increase access to peer mentoring, and provide opportunities for facilitated dialogue between and within grade levels. This system will be known as “The House System”. The House system aims to create stable and predictable spaces for students across grades to have fun, build relationships, and learn from one another. While our Advisory system is organized horizontally within a grade, our House system will be organized vertically and be comprised of one Advisory group from each grade level. The Advisors from each group will collaborate with one another and work to create a meaningful and supportive framework for peer relationships within the House. We rolled this new program out to the students during the first week of school and the House Advisors are working hard throughout the year to create engaging programming.
