Dear US Families,
We have a jam-packed D-E spring coming soon for Upper School students! There will be lots of Activities offered by student organizations, like The HOPE Fashion Show, Jazz Rock, trips, and special assemblies, and, most notably, Spring Carnival. The Spring Carnival is an all-school community event that takes place on Sunday, April 23rd and is open to students and families from all three divisions. Booths are hosted primarily by leaders of student organizations and it is a spirited time for our community to get together and connect outside on Leggett Field.
In May, our students look forward to participating in the Michael Andrew Glowski Intramural Competition (better known as MAGIC)! It is a D-E field day tradition that honors the memory of alumnus, Michael Andrew Glowski ’95. Grades will be competing against each other in varied relay games on May 24th with their advisories. It’s a moment for students to bond with each other by grade and show off their school spirit!
Senior families have also heard from me recently about special upcoming senior events for May leading up to commencement. If any senior families have any questions about those events, feel free to reach out to me or Dr. Shai Zacaraev.
