Dear 12th grade parents and guardians,
I hope you are well and that the last few weeks have been manageable in the midst of college applications, Interims, co-curriculars, and all manner of other school business. I’m writing now as a follow-up to Ms. Lalli’s email from last week. As a reminder, you can always find Kim Lalli’s push pages (as well as these updates from me) archived on the US News website. Ms. Lalli’s most recent communication includes information about Projects and Assessments Week (including a FAQs page), Interim grades-in-progress, and upcoming Upper School events.
Also, I’m writing to let you know that on Thursday, December 7th and Friday, December 8th we will be holding Parent-Teacher Conferences on campus. On Monday, November 20th, you’ll be given access via the resources page on myDE to pick the window of time you’d like to come to campus. There will be a window on Thursday afternoon, Thursday evening, Friday morning, and Friday afternoon. During this time, families will visit their student’s teachers for 10 minute conversations. Individual conference times are not scheduled within this window. If your schedule is limited on those days, please be sure to mark your calendar for 11/20 so that you can sign up for the conference window that best suits your needs. There will be 150 slots per window and they will all be first come, first serve. If you aren’t able to attend conferences, please reach out to your student’s Dean to talk about an alternative plan for following up with high-priority teachers. You’ll receive a reminder from Kim Lalli on Monday about the opening of the “pick-a-time” resource.
That’s it for now – again, wishing you all a great Thanksgiving, and, as always, please reach out with any questions.
Take care,
Jeremy
