Jeremy Meserole – Dean for the Class of 2024

Hi everyone – it was great seeing folks at the Forum on Tuesday morning – I appreciated the opportunity to speak with those of you who could make it about working with students to develop their ability to adopt a growth mindset as they approach their work for the rest of the semester and into next year. Encouraging them to recognize that they can grow their capacity to evolve as student learners, tolerate mistakes, try new things – in essence, teaching them to learn from both their successes and failure – this mindset is critical for them to foster over the course of the next twelve months as they navigate senior year, rigorous course loads, co-curricular commitments, and the college process.  I look forward to partnering with them as they wrap up junior year with energy and resolve – the spring semester winds up, not down, here at D-E, so I hope to support them in their efforts to finish well as they head into the summer and get ready for the upcoming fall semester.  Thank you, as ever, for your continued support – please reach out at any time with questions or concerns.  Wishing you all a great spring.
