Wellness Corner Updates:

Continuing with the Wellness Series that we began in the late fall, we have many events to look forward to when we return from spring break. In response to student feedback about additional ways that we can proactively support their social and emotional health at school, we will have activities happening every other week in Hulst House from April through June. This will include morning meditations, yoga and dance classes, art activities, games, and ‘story time.’ Students will also be able to attend lunchtime speaker sessions on topics including sleep hygiene, nutrition, aromatherapy, techniques for stress management, and more. Student leaders from the One Love Club are excited to host a workshop with a guest speaker from that organization on the topic of healthy relationships. On April 5th, Max Stossel, the founder of Social Awakening (a group that promotes the healthy use of social media), will be at school to work with middle and upper school students as well as parents.
