From Brian Merry, Dean for Class of 2025
Hi 10th Grade Families! It’s hard to believe we’re almost at spring break. It’s been a busy few weeks as the 10th graders have been navigating the scheduling process, which is an exciting time in many ways but also a bit daunting with the numerous choices offered in the junior year. I’ve met with many students to talk about their schedules and have been impressed by their thoughtful approaches to the process. I also would like to give a special thanks to their advisers for working with the 10th graders with such care and insight. As a reminder, the deadline for both submitting course requests on the ClassA Portal and 6th Major Forms is at the end of the day Monday, March 13. As I have been informally taking stock of the class recently, I’ve reflected on how much they’ve grown and matured since September, making me confident that they are going to be ready to step into leadership roles on campus as juniors. The 10th graders have worked very hard these past months and have really earned a break from school. Whether traveling or enjoying some quiet time at home, I wish them and all of you a wonderful spring break.
